Our Story

ZETA CHI ZETA FRATERNITY, INC., was founded on November 6, 1969. The purpose of the fraternity’s formation was to (a) Advance the ideals of “Strength in Brotherhood”; (b) Promote democratic principles; (c) Contribute to excellence in scholarship; (d) Encourage purposeful living, peace and unity amongst the Brothers; and (e) Establish better understanding between the students and faculty at the State University College at Oswego.
 

For over 50 years, Zeta has been a visible presence on the Oswego campus located on the beautiful, chilly shores of Lake Ontario. While there have been MANY advancements and transformations that have occurred over this time in the world, country, New York, and on the Oswego campus, Zeta’s “Strength in Brotherhood” has withstood the test of time. 
 

This website is a safe and secure place for ZXZ brothers to share pictures, reminisce about stories, stay in touch with fellow alumni, and connect Zeta’s history with the current brothers. This will also be a one stop location to get information on the current Zeta brothers, hear about upcoming reunions, social gatherings and anything else Zeta Chi Zeta related.  This website is intended to renew lost contacts and  friendships, and help foster and create new memories.
